The largest catch was found in 2016 with 270.6 tons which have a value of $7,587,465.0 pesos. Finally, a greater catch was found in the southern corridor compared to the northern corridor and this increased from 2013 to 2016 and decreased towards 2017. The operating cost structure showed that it was cheaper to go fishing in 2013 than in 2017 by 55%.The results showed that from 2013 to 2017 there was a better economic return per fishing trip, which implies that during this period the implementation of the fishing refuge areas has not affected the fishermen economically. This is somehow associated with the increase in beach prices of the main resources captured. In addition, in the northern corridor, the efficiency of fishing trips, based on the quasi-income of operating costs, increased by 16% from 2013 to 2017, while in the southern corridor increased by 36%. Also, to know some aspects of the fishing operation and demographics of the fishing communities along the San Cosme-Punta Coyote corridor. The development of this work allowed us to know that of the total of species captured in the year 20 (42 and 37 species, respectively) only 10 species are those that support the artisanal fishing of marine scales in the San Cosme-Punta Coyote corridor, in which Lutjanus peru and Balistes polylepis stand out. Therefore, the objective of this work was to determine the percentage of fishing trips that are profitable in the northern and southern corridors during the 20 fishing seasons. identifying if the implementation of these refuge zones has allowed an improvement in the income that fishermen obtain from fishing activity. However, to date there is no study that allows us to identify if the artisanal fishing that takes place in these areas is profitable in addition to. Throughout these five years of the implementation of the Fishing Refuge Zones in B.C.S., the biological and ecological component associated with the small-scale fisheries operating in the areas adjacent to these refuge zones has been evaluated.
